Description: Alheira is a typical sausage from the Terra Fria Trás-os-Montes region. Made with game meat (such as duck, partridge, pheasant, wild rabbit) properly shredded, bread, sandwiching the sausage with pork fat, seasoned with olive oil, garlic, chilli pepper and salt.
Ingredients: Game meat (boar and venison) (30%), pork (15%), chicken (15%), duck (10%), rabbit (5%), water in the form of syrup, wheat bread (type 65 wheat flour, water, yeast and salt), garlic, paprika, salt, preservative (E-262), antioxidant (E-331) and spices.
May contain traces of bones.
